Hopie Stockman runs the LA-Based home textile brand Block Shop Textiles and is equal parts creative mind and business manager. Hopie studied painting and works as a commissioned portraitist, but her background before starting Block Shop was in investment research and marketing. She went to business school at Harvard, where focused her research on social entrepreneurship. The magic of Block Shop's products, which range from rugs to pillows, to wall art (and more), results from our close partnership with a handful of small-scale, family-owned manufacturers at the forefront of ethical manufacturing processes in Jaipur, India. We're a family business spanning two continents, and that spirit of interconnected flows through everything we do.
