Ellie Williams (@ellie1williams, she/her) is an LA-based singer/songwriter making the soundtrack of your life. Growing up in a very musical household, including two older sisters in choirs and a father who would play guitar while serenading her to sleep, Ellie found her calling at an earlier age than most. At age eight, she held concerts featuring original songs on the coffee table, playing a Guitar Hero guitar and singing into the Swiffer. Eventually she upgraded her coffee table originals to R&B and Blues covers with local bands in her hometown of Lawrence, KS. While sitting in with other bands, Ellie began performing solo gigs and gradually started to find voice in a more alternative pop lane.

Focusing all of her 14-year-old-angst into music, Ellie moved to California to write and release her first album Act My Age, alongside producer Brandon Sammons (@iambsamz) in 2016, and hasn’t looked back since. Last year, she released her breakout single “Clueless” which quickly amassed over a million streams on Spotify (@spotify) and was featured in tastemaker playlists including Lorem, Fresh Finds, Lemonade and bops.

Ellie’s music style is inspired by artists Alicia Keys (@aliciakeys) and Alessia Cara (@alessiasmusic), with a writing style that is inspired by artists Julia Michaels (@juliamichaels) and FINNEAS (@finneas).  She is currently in the studio writing and recording her next project, due out later this year.
